Passive Exercise Solutions for Eldercare Facilities in Singapore
Your residents deserve movement—even when traditional exercise isn't possible.
BGREEN and Turtlegym equipment offers gentle, passive exercise that frail elderly residents can use safely and independently. Proven across hundreds of facilities in Japan, now available in Singapore through Vibrahealth.
- Designed specifically for elderly users
- No staff supervision required during use
- Proven adoption in Japan and Taiwan
- Supports mobility, circulation, and quality of life
Keeping Residents Active Is Getting Harder
You know the importance of movement for your residents. But the reality of eldercare makes it increasingly difficult to deliver.
Increasing Frailty
Many residents are too frail, too fearful, or too cognitively impaired to participate in traditional exercise programmes. Group activities exclude your most vulnerable.
Limited Resources
Staff time is precious. Supervised exercise requires dedicated personnel—a luxury most facilities can't afford for every resident, every day.
Downward Spiral
Without regular movement, residents decline faster. Reduced mobility leads to falls, loss of independence, and accelerated deterioration.
What if movement didn't require ability, supervision, or effort?
Passive Movement for Every Resident
Vibrahealth brings two complementary equipment solutions to eldercare facilities:
Gentle vibration chairs, sofas, and beds that residents can use in their rooms or common areas. Passive WBVV and WBPA technology requires nothing from the user except sitting or lying down.
Specialised isokinetic equipment designed specifically for elderly rehabilitation. Widely adopted across nursing homes and day care centres in Japan and Taiwan.
Why facilities choose passive movement technology:
- No supervision required — Residents can use equipment independently once oriented. Staff time is freed for other care needs.
- Inclusive — Frail, cognitively impaired, and wheelchair-bound residents can all benefit. No one is excluded due to ability level.
- Safe — Designed for the most vulnerable users. No risk of falls, strain, or overexertion.
- Enjoyable — Residents actually like using it. The gentle sensation is pleasant, not punishing.
Applications Across Eldercare Settings
Residential Nursing
Provide daily movement opportunities for long-term residents. Support mobility maintenance and quality of life across all care levels.
Assisted Living
Offer wellness amenities that differentiate your facility. Residents maintain independence longer with regular passive movement.
Day Care Centres
Incorporate vibration sessions into daily programmes. Participants return home having received gentle exercise—even if they couldn't do anything else.
Home Care Providers
Recommend home equipment for clients. Extend your care between visits with technology clients can use independently.

Questions from Eldercare Providers
Is this equipment safe for frail elderly residents?
Yes. Both BGREEN and Turtlegym equipment is specifically designed with elderly users in mind. The vibrations are gentle and controlled, there's no risk of falling, and no physical effort is required. Many facilities in Japan use this equipment for their most frail residents. However, we recommend consulting with your medical team for residents with specific contraindications such as pacemakers, recent surgery, or acute conditions.
Do residents need supervision while using the equipment?
After initial orientation, most residents can use BGREEN equipment independently. The one-button operation is simple enough for cognitively intact users. For residents with dementia or severe cognitive impairment, some guidance may be helpful, but the passive nature means there's nothing they can do wrong. Turtlegym equipment may require more structured supervision depending on the specific products and resident abilities.
How many residents can one piece of equipment serve?
Each session is 15-30 minutes, so one uChair or uBed can serve multiple residents throughout the day. Facilities typically schedule residents in rotation or allow open access during certain hours. The uSofa seats two, allowing couples or friends to use it together. For larger facilities, we can advise on the optimal number of units based on your resident population.
What's the cost for facilities?
Pricing depends on the equipment selected and quantity. We offer facility pricing that differs from individual consumer pricing. Contact us for a customised quote based on your needs. We also offer lease options and pilot programmes for facilities that want to evaluate before committing to purchase.
Can we trial the equipment before committing?
Absolutely. We encourage facility decision-makers to visit our Wellness Lounge to experience the equipment firsthand. We can also arrange on-site demonstrations at your facility. For facilities wanting an extended evaluation, we offer pilot programmes and lease arrangements.
